The Finnish Air Force has used three Friendships, one of these was FF-2 (11300). After having been withdrawn from active service in 2004, the airframe was donated to the WinNova Technical School, whose department for aircraft engineering and maintenance education is located at Pori airport. The Friendship is used as an instructional frame and looks in a pretty good shape. It has received ‘Winnova’ titles since.

Twenty-two F28 Fellowships that have been in use with Norcanair, Time Air and Canadian Regional are stored at Saskatoon airport for some years now. Part of the airframes are next to the AeroLogistics America hangar (Joseph Hollick; Saskatoon, September 8, 2018); the others are in a remote location at the north side of the airport.

The present owner granted the Time Air Historical Society an opportunity removing parts for their F28 restauration project. Unfortunately the condition of the first Time Air F28 C-GTEO (11991) was too poor for complete restauration, so the Society has to find another Fellowship. Before C-GTEO was eventually scrapped by 240918 the airframe was already missing many parts (Time Air Historical Society; Saskatoon, September 17, 2018)
