The 3rd Fokker 50 of Denim Air ACMI bv is this PH-JXN (20239) and currently operating in Afghanistan. Seen here at Mazar-i-Sharif, one of the smaller airports in the north of the country near the Uzbekistan border. (Willem van Dam, July 23, 2010)


Back at Woensdrecht after 3 months surveyer work in the Caribbean. This nice shot of VH-EWP (10534) was taken during the approach to the maintenance base of Fokker Services. Note the special survey panel fitted in the belly, only a few F27's have ever received such a modification. (Johan Havelaar, August 19, 2010)


Meet the latest Aero Mongolia Fokker 50 JU-8257 (20257) which was earlier active as JA01NV of Air Central, the new name of NakaNihon Air Line Service and OY-PCI of Nordic Aviation Capital A/S. (Jacques Vooren, Amsterdam, August 12, 2010)


The first F27 for TAM Transportes Aéreos Regionais S.A. was this PT-LAF (10177) acquired in 1979 and currently on display inside the TAM museum at São Carlos. Was also the first F27 Mark 200 converted to Mark 600 with a large cargo door. This was done in Indonesia during 1975 while in service with Pelita Air Service as PK-PFW. The F27 was new delivered to All Nippon Airways in 1961 as JA8601, being also their first F27 in operation. (Marcelo Bordim, July 15, 2010)

   10149 100 N32180 Aerospace Trust Management LLC, registration N32180 cancelled 180908. Sold to METC - Malaysian Airways Engineering Training College 1108. Seen at Kuala Lumpur/Subang 021208 and 141009 without registration and still in basic Royal Dutch Air Force colours parked outside the hangars. Currently still around as instructional airframe in same condition.
   10177 600 PT-LAF TAM museum Asas De Um Sonho (The Wings of a Dream), seen displayed inside the museum at São Carlos 150710 fully restored and repainted in original (old) TAM c/s with “Super Mk 600” titles on dorsal fin.
   10430 600 9Q-CJV Air kasaï, written off after a main gear collapse upon landing at Lubumbashi, Congo DRC 200710. No injuries reported among occupants.
   10534 500F VH-EWP Fugro LADS Corporation, Pty Ltd, arrived at Fokker Woensdrecht 190810 after surveyer duty in the Caribbean.
   10639 500RF TC-MBE MNG kargo, all remaining parts left Coventry 140708 loaded on 3 trucks. Seen at Holmescales, Cumbria 160610 in basic MNG kargo c/s as part of an Activity/Paintballing Centre.
   10668 400M 51608 U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights, seen at Farmingdale, New York 300510 also with new small "United States Army Parachute Team" titles on fuselage as sistership Mark 400M 51607.
   20199 050 SX-BRV First Prop Aviation, arrived at Maastricht/Aachen 200810 in white c/s on return after start-up in Greece reportedly failed.
   20206 050 SX-BRS First Prop Aviation, arrived at Maastricht/Aachen 190810 in white c/s on return after start-up in Greece reportedly failed.
   20207 050 SX-BRM First Prop Aviation, arrived at Maastricht/Aachen 210810 in white c/s on return after start-up in Greece reportedly failed.
   20216 050 YL-BAC Air Baltic, Corporation A/S, arrived at Maastricht 120810 in airBaltic.com c/s for maintenance. Previously operating in white c/s with "airBaltic.com" titles. Departed from Maastricht 250810.
   20233 050 PH-JXJ Denim Air ACMI bv, arrived at Maastricht 250810 (was back-up for flyOristana operation). After maintenance it will replace PH-JXN (20239) at Kabul, Afghanistan.
   20257 050 JU-8257 OY-PCI Nordic Aviation Capital A/S, registration cancelled 290710. Destined for lease to Aero Mongolia, Co. Ltd. Ferried Billund-Amsterdam 300710 in basic ANA c/s as JU-8257 for painting by QAPS. Seen inside QAPS paintshop 100810 allmost ready after painting into Aero Mongolia c/s. Seen inside Nayak hangar 110810 without rudder being balanced after painting. Departed from Amsterdam 120810 on delivery.
   20276 050 9Q- . . . PH-LXP SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance bv, departed from Maastricht 140810 in white c/s (as SXI1023) on delivery to Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation being the 3rd Fokker 50 for CAA. Registration cancelled 160810.
   20280 0502 OB-1770-P ? N209AC AeroCentury, Corporation, registration cancelled 040310. Leased to Aero Transporte, S.A. (ATSA) reportedly again as OB-1770-P, being the previous registration while operated by AeroCóndor Express.


Already broken up is HA-FAE (10425) and symbolize the coming end of Farnair Hungary as a F27 freighter operator. Also HA-FAC (10341) is stored here without engines.

     Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100 Last update: September 1, 2010      


A new Fokker 100 operator to start in Paraguay! Sol del Paraguay Líneas Aéreas, S.A. will take later this year XA-TCP (11341) of MexicanaClick into service. The new company from Asuncion was officially launched on July 1, 2010 and is planning to fly later this year to São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Montevideo. This years goal is to operate two Fokker 100s which will be extended next year with three more. (via Skyliner, Mexico City, July 29, 2010)


TAM museum 'The Wings of a Dream' was recently reopened and PT-MRL (11441) is displayed in its original TAM livery. This museum at São Carlos has a large collection of aircraft related to Brazilian history. (Marcelo Bordim, July 15, 2010).

Eagles Airlines, Spa is the re-start of AlpiEagles, SpA. Ferried to homebase Venice 220710 as F-GNLI. Seen again at Maastricht 100810 still as F-GNLI on pilot training.

   11424 0100 TR-LGQ Air Affaires Gabon, departed from Woensdrecht 180810 after maintenance.
   11432 0100 EP-ASL Iran Aseman Airlines, overran the runway after landing at Tabriz, Iran 260810 in rainy conditions and became substantially damaged to forward pressure bulkhead after it fell into a ditch. Reportedly 2 passengers only slightly injured.
   11441 0100 PT-MRL TAM museum Asas De Um Sonho (The Wings of a Dream), seen displayed inside the museum at São Carlos 150710 fully restored and repainted in original (old) TAM c/s. Was written off after an 'all gear up' emergency landing at São Paulo/Viracopos 300802.

Destined for AirQuarius Aviation, Pty Ltd. Returned to Woensdrecht 290710 in white c/s (with new registration ZS-SKA taped over). Will be operated on behalf of SkyLink Arabia.
   11571 0070 4L-GIB HA-LMF Malev, Kft, seen at Budapest/Ferihegy 150710 in white c/s. Destined for lease to Georgian International Airlines as 4L-GIB. The company is based at Batumi, Georgia and formely known as EuroLine, Ltd being renamed early 2010.
   11575 0070 4L-GIC HA-LME Malev, Kft, arrived at Norwich 260810 for painting. Destined for lease to Georgian International Airlines as 4L-GIC.


The registration of PH-OFA (11246) was officially cancelled on July 5, 2010. The Fokker 100 has already lost its engines but the Aviodrome museum will receive two spare engines later this year for display use. Both thrust reversers and engine inlets are still around and visible behind the Fokker 100. (Arno Landewers, Lelystad, July 24, 2010)


It is not looking good for TJ-ALD (11173) of Air Leasing Cameroon. Hopefully all missing parts are removed for maintenance and the Fellowship will survive!

5N-SSZ (11190) of IRS Airlines was seen in stored condition without the l/h Spey engine. The company titles and tail logo are whipped out on the r/h-side of the Fellowship.
